Believing that good sweets are like any fine food, Kim and Alyssa Theodore opened The Sugar Cube in 2006. The Sugar Cube celebrates quality, tradition, and above all, passion.

After 10 years of embracing her passion for gourmet foods and treats as a weekend aficionado, Alyssa left her career in publishing to open The Sugar Cube and embrace her passion full-time.

Kim began her journey towards The Sugar Cube as a 13-year old working at her hometown chocolate shops. After receiving a degree in art and still madly in love with sweets, she combined her passion for delicious treats and beautiful presentation with The Sugar Cube.
